Trevor from Ohio
Age: 10Profile:

Both Trevor and his sister have type 1 diabetes. Both wear insulin pumps, and have recently started wearing continuous glucose monitors. Trevor spends most of his time playing team sports like baseball, football, basketball, and swimming. He would like to be a major league baseball player, or a doctor that takes care of kids with diabetes. He has participated in the JDRF Walk for the last five years, and he speaks with other kids about the disease. “I want to share my story so that Members of Congress can see that although I (and my little sister) look healthy and do anything other kids do, we have to manage and understand things that other kids don’t have to think about. I want to help find a cure for us.”
